INTRODUCTION
This limited warranty explains what is covered, how to make a claim, and what to expect.
HOW CONSUMER LAW RELATES TO THIS WARRANTY
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR BY COUNTRY OR PROVINCE). TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIVOSUN DOES NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT, OR SUSPEND OTHER RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE, INCLUDING THOSE THAT MAY ARISE FROM THE NONCONFORMITY OF A SALES CONTRACT. FOR A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR RIGHTS, YOU SHOULD CONSULT THE LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY, PROVINCE, OR STATE.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS SUBJECT TO CONSUMER LAW
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED.
TO THE EXTENT THAT THIS WARRANTY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, VIVOSUN LIMITS THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY AND, AT VIVOSUN'S OPTION, THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICES DESCRIBED BELOW. SOME STATES (COUNTRIES AND PROVINCES) DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY (OR CONDITION) MAY LAST, SO THE LIMITATION DESCRIBED ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
WARRANTY SCOPE
The Warranty Period begins on the original retail purchase date and covers:
- Manufacturing defects;
- Damage caused during transportation (provided the issue is reported promptly upon receipt); and
- Other circumstances required by applicable law.
Most Vivosun products carry a 2-year warranty. Certain components and accessories may have shorter warranty periods. For exact details, please refer to the product manual.
Product-Specific Warranty
- Kits & Bundles: Warranty follows the individual component terms listed below or as detailed in the product manual.
- LED Grow Lights: Up to 5 years total coverage. Most models offer a 2-year unlimited warranty; AeroLight and LumaLight provide an additional 3-year limited warranty after the initial 2 years.
- Grow Tents (including frame, poles, zippers, and trays): 2-year warranty. Note: Fabric wear, zipper fatigue, and damage from improper setup/overloading are excluded.
- SGS Products: 2-year warranty, unless otherwise specified in the product manual.
- Filters, Ducting, Pre-filters, Clamps: No warranty—sold as-is (consumables).
- Grow Bags, Coco Coir, Nutrients, Peat Pots, Rockwool: No warranty—sold as-is (consumables).
- Other Accessories: 2-year warranty unless specified as consumable.
OPTIONAL WORRY-FREE PROTECTION (POWERED BY SEEL)
At checkout, you may optionally purchase Worry-Free Protection provided by our partner SEEL. This third-party service offers additional coverage for shipping-related issues such as loss, delay, theft, or transit damage. It is separate from the standard manufacturer warranty. Claims under this protection are handled directly by SEEL.
WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
This warranty applies exclusively to products purchased directly from the official Vivosun websites or authorized Vivosun retailers. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. For products purchased from third-party sellers or other channels, please contact the seller directly for after-sales service.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
This Limited Warranty does not apply to:
(1) Products used outside the intended purpose or recommended conditions;
(2) Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, natural disasters, or improper electrical supply;
(3) Products altered or modified by non-authorized parties;
(4) Consumables such as batteries;
(5) Software bundled or embedded with the product;
(6) Products installed or used in violation of industry standards (e.g., UL, ANSI, CSA, EN, IEC);
(7) This warranty is void if the product was used in a way that violates our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or any other user agreement.
HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
To submit a claim under this Limited Warranty:
(1) You must be the original purchaser.
(2) The product must have been purchased directly from Vivosun or an authorized distributor/retailer.
(3) Proof of purchase, order number, product model, serial number, or receipt is required.
(4) Vivosun may request additional information or documentation (such as installation details, photos, videos, or usage history).
(5) Claims for visible damage must be reported within 30 days of receipt.
(6) If requested, the defective product must be returned, and the customer must prepay the return shipping costs.
(7) Claims can contact Vivosun Customer Service at support@vivosun.com. Claims are subject to approval based on our warranty terms.

REMEDY
If a valid claim is approved, Vivosun may, at its sole discretion:
(1) Repair the product using new or refurbished parts;
(2) Replace the defective product with the same model or an equivalent version (updated or upgraded);
(3) Provide a full or partial refund where repair or replacement is not feasible;
(4) Based on the specific claim circumstances, Vivosun may require the customer to cover restocking or shipping fees in connection with any of the foregoing remedies;
(5) Request return of the defective unit before issuing a repair, replacement, or refund.
This warranty does not cover installation or removal costs, labor, or materials. Repairs or replacements may incur additional shipping charges unless otherwise arranged by Vivosun.
DISCLAIMER OF OTHER WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY VIVOSUN AND REPLACES ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS.
EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, VIVOHOME DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Vivosun will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or from any breach of warranty or contract. To the extent permitted by law, Vivosun’s total liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the defective product.
SOME STATES (COUNTRIES AND PROVINCES) DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This Warranty Policy takes effect on January 1, 2026, and applies to all orders placed and transactions completed on or after that date. For products purchased prior to January 1, 2026, the warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase will continue to apply.
Vivosun reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
