Once the infusion process is complete, pull the head unit off, being careful not to let any hot liquid drip on yourself or anything else. We recommend using silicone gloves for safe handling. lf you don’t have any, allow the liquid to cool for a while before handling.
Set up the filter bag on top of an apropriate container (preferably glass). Slowly pour the infused liquid through the filter bag, allowing it to drain fully and become cool to the touch.Silicone spatulas can be used to press excess liquid out of the ground material.
After the initial drain, gather the filter bag with the ground material and give it a few strongtwists and squeezes to drain all excess liquid into the container. Then open the filter bag, stir the ground material around , and twist and squeeze again. Repeat this action until no further liquid remains.
To store your infusion, pour it into a container or mold that will allow you to easily portion it for recipes. We recommend using silicone spatulas to assist in retrieving all material from your machine, as well as as the container you strained into.
