Q: What do you like most about VIVOSUN (why are you a Vivo-Fan)?
A: As a newbie grower, [VIVOSUN] gave me a lot of information about growing. I also like their products and how the packages are already set up and ready to grow.
Q: What VIVOSUN products do you use?
A: A 3x3x tent, a VS2000, the 4-in. variable speed fan, the 4-in. carbon filter, pH tester, soil meter, fabric pots (the 3 and 5 gallons), and VIVOSUN leaf trimmers.
Q: Why did you decide you wanted to start growing cannabis? Or why do you grow (for fun, relaxation, medicine)?
A: I started growing bc it’s relaxing and I can grow my own medicine… Plus I enjoy manipulating the plant to make a fun-looking base. Keeps me busy throughout the day.
Q: How long have you grown cannabis?
A: I think I’ve been growing cannabis for 20 years here and there, growing outside plants and learning by watching others do their plants, and still going, but this is my very first inside grow!
Q: How many grows did you have before you really thought you got it?
A: I don’t know, you learn something new every day, or at least I learn something new from all my chat buddies in the groups I have. Home growing has been a whole new adventure in growing. It’s so fun and it’s all natural material that goes into the plants.
Q: How long have you used cannabis?
A: I smoked my first bowl somewhere around 14 and have smoked off and on ever since.
Q: What are your favorite strains?
A: Sour Diesel or Bruce Banner.
Q: What’s your specialty? Soil, hydro, dwc, coco, organis, living soil, etc
A: I prefer organic growing best.
Q: Auto, photo, both, or regs?
A: I’d have to go with autos. Really digging these auto flowers compared to photos I grew years ago.
Q: Biggest yield from one plant?
A: My biggest yield… My first indoor was 2 ounces.
Q: Biggest achievement in growing? A picture would be great.
A: My biggest achievement was being a successful grower. Add a photo of the 2 characters on my bug…
Q: Do you have a short funny story about growing or being stoned that you would like to share?
A: Uhhh…. I was burning one, having a good time with friends doing donuts in a field and caught dirt and my friends and I all looked at each other. 4 friends all looking at each other, it felt like everything went in slow motion at that moment.
Q: Favorite way to medicate? Joints, blunts, pipes, bongs, edibles, etc.
A: I prefer blunts and bowls
Q: Favorite stoner movie and song (it’s ok if it’s not a stoner movie/song)
A: Dazed and Confused the movie and Sublime: “What I Got.”
Q: What’s your favorite go-to munchies?
A: I like pizza with ranch.
Q: If you were a cartoon character or superhero, who would you be? Why?
A: I’d pick Roger Rabbit… because he’s funny.
Q: Do you have any pets? Send us a picture!
A: We have a cat that loves hanging around the grow tent… Her name is Miley, she’s my grow buddy.
Q: Any other hobbies or interests?
A: Photography and learning to bonsai.
Q: Favorite place in the world to be stoned?
A: I’d like to be on a train riding through the snowy Swiss Alps smoking a fat blunt.
Q: If you were stranded on an island what 3 things would you want to have with you, other than cannabis, lighter, papers, etc?
A: If I was stranded on an island, a pack of growing seeds, a thing of playing cards, and maybe a knife.
Q: What’s the most important thing you learned as a grower?
A: I learned to double-check and listen to your plant.
Q: What’s one thing you would tell a new grower or someone interested in growing?
A: Research and don’t give up and don’t be afraid to ask all your questions.
Q: What new products would you like to see or features added in the future?
A: I think they should make a mesh basket to put inside the fabric pots so that the top lip can be used for low-stress training.
