There are two main strains of cannabis: Sativa and Indica. Sativa contains higher THC, which has an uplifting and energizing effect, and Indica has a drowsy and relaxing effect. Some hybrids have features of both.

Super Sour Diesel
Super Sour Diesel is a world-famous strain at this point and you can easily tell from the name that this is a Sativa cannabis strain made by crossing Super Silver Haze with Sour Diesel and it inherits the advantages of both. Sour Diesel has a very distinctive smell, similar to petrol, while Super Silver Haze is relaxing without anxiety, and Super Sour Diesel has inherited both of these traits. In addition, Super Sour Diesel is powerful enough to eliminate stress and pain and stimulates creativity, so it is a perfect daytime high. Its THC level ranges from 18% to 24%, so prepare yourself!
Shogun
Shogun is derived from two strains with very different properties: Amnesia Haze and Gorilla Glue #4. Shogun has high THC content (and high yield when growing) from Amnesia Haze while still holding onto decent CBD levels. The THC content of Royal Gorilla can be as high as 25%, the difference is that it is the perfect combination of Sativa and Indica genetics, so Shogun becomes a very invigorating sativa. And with a flavor profile of earthy pine, Shogun is a delicious, balanced high.
Jamaican Dream
The Jamaican Dream is bred by Jamaican genetics and is the epitome of Jamaican flavor. It contains 90% sativa genes and smells like pineapple, with a sweet and spicy aftertaste. Using it puts you into a slightly elevated mood that fights fatigue and maintains focus so if you need to do some creative work, Jamaican Dream is a lot of fun. A lot of smokers enjoy it with a morning coffee before doing some painting or designing.
Purple Haze
The popularity of this strain should thank Jimmi Hendrix, although I don’t know if it got its name from his song directly, or if it was just a happy coincidence. Purple Haze is thought to be a cross between Purple Thai and Colombian Haze strains, dominated by Sativa, with a THC content between about 15%-20%. Purple Haze is an almost psychedelic uplifting feeling that stimulates mood and energy throughout the day. Its color, like its name, is full of charm, which is something we love. The flavor profile includes a blueberry aroma mixed with earthy notes.
Green Crack
According to legend, Green Crack takes its name from Snoop Dogg. You should be able to imagine its properties—a potent, euphoric feeling that is creative, energetic, and active. Unlike a lot of other strains, Green Crack’s effects are almost immediate—it has a high THC level of 25%, so you need to control your dosage. Its flavors are fruity and invigorating, with striking mango and pineapple chords.
Green Crack has a great reputation amongst smokers, but as a member of one of the original Sativa strains, it all but disappeared from the shelves since hybrids are now all the rage. Recently, however, smokers have started craving the original strain again so if you are looking for traditional strains, consider growing Green Crack.
Super Lemon Haze
Super Lemon Haze is a Sativa-based cannabis hybrid. It is a cross between Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze (again) and belongs to the haze strain family. Over the past ten years, Super Lemon Haze has won several cannabis competitions organized by different magazines and has been touted as one of the best-tasting, cleanest-feeling strains to emerge in recent history. Its aroma is fresh lemon mixed with citrus notes, which accentuate the energetic properties. THC levels are up to 25%, and even if you’re a seasoned smoker you should measure your intake (at least initially) because it packs a powerful punch—too much and you’ll get that anxious feeling.
